sangalo rocks!

"Sangalo Rocks" is a massive boulder pile at the top of a hill, visible from the road leading from Bungoma to Kakamega. Sangalo is also one of the sites in Bungoma where we grow passion fruit, so it's somewhat appropriate that I saved this excursion for my last week as well.

4 photos * (1,000 words/photo) = 4,000 words. Enjoy.

A Kenyan man stands on top of one of the rocks - gives perspective on their size! (don't worry, Mom, I didn't climb this one)

Andrew leaps from one boulder to another... the fate of One Acre Fund is suspended over the chasm...
Jake, Lukas, & I atop one of the boulders. Yes, I'm barefoot.

Wow. Fabulous place! Makes me realize that I never associated such beauty with Africa.
